Professionals

Clinicians can register and be verified before a badge appears next to their name.

Verification means the registration details given are checked against the national register the clinician is claiming to be on. A badge says who checked it and when.

A badge sits on the post, not only on the profile, so a reader sees it where the answer is rather than having to go looking.

A verified badge is not medical advice and does not create a doctor and patient relationship. The forum rules say so on every board.

A clinician registers and submits their credentials.

An admin checks the details against the national register.

A badge appears on their posts and profile.

Verification is rechecked every 12 months.
